We start by steeping organic dried elderberries, then strain them out and add a new batch of organic dried elderberries along with fresh organic ginger, carefully selected botanicals and warming spices—and steep it all over again.
Steep. Strain. Add more elderberries. Steep again.
That's the extra step behind Double Elderberry, creating the rich, layered elderberry flavor in every bottle.
Once the steeping is complete, we sweeten it with local raw honey instead of refined sugar.

Twice-Steeped Organic Elderberries
Elderberry is the heart of the recipe, so we don't stop at one steep. Two separate additions of organic elderberries create the rich elderberry base that gives Double Elderberry its name.
Fresh Organic Ginger
Fresh matters. We intentionally use fresh—not dried—organic ginger in our second steep. Fresh ginger has a different natural gingerol profile than dried ginger and brings a distinctive bright, warming kick to the finished syrup.
Hawthorn Berry, Astragalus Root + Rose Hips
Traditional botanicals thoughtfully selected to round out our elderberry blend.
Organic Warming Spices
Cassia cinnamon bark, clove bud, star anise, cardamom and orange peel build the warm, spiced flavor. Because what's the point of making something with great ingredients if you don't actually enjoy taking it?
Local Raw Honey
No refined sugar here. We finish each batch with local raw honey for just the right amount of natural sweetness while supporting another local producer.
How to Use
Take 1 teaspoon daily. May be increased to 1-4 tablespoon as desired.
Shake well before using.
